Link two vicidials with trunk

I have two separate single-server installations of vicibox, each being used by a different client.

One client wants to transfer calls to the other vicidial setup sometimes, but does not want to carry the provider costs of transferring the call through the minutes provider.

Is it possible to link these two vicidials somehow with a trunk, over which calls can be transferred directly between the two (from on server to the other)?

You will need to upgrade to a more recent svn/trunk version, but we wrote this for a client to send calls from two clusters into a third cluster and it works flawlessly. They've been running it for about a month now and are transferring tens of thousands of calls with lead data each day, and all with just a web-based configuration setup.
