Recently it came to my attention the function denoise from asterisk. It works on asterisk 13. the description is this " The DENOISE function will apply noise reduction to audio on the channel that it is executed on. It is very useful for noisy analog lines, especially when adjusting gains or using AGC. Use rx for audio received from the channel and tx to apply the filter to the audio being sent to the channel. "
Have anyone tried this? Did it really reduced the background noise?
Thanks.

i find it much more likely that an asterisk or freepbx forum would have users with this function in use.
