works great! Followed it and it works like magic since the latest astguiclient overwrites your config files like the ones your going to do manually in the scratch install, also its much nicer if we put those SQL entries in a .sql file so it could be much easier to run instead of copying and pasting them in the command line.

instead of putting them all in sql file its better to write a little shell script which can replace/insert server ip, admin's user name/password in database along with all this sql based on user input

Thanks again to your easy install guide me and my ex officemate are now making an autoinstall script that will ask the ip, username, password that will basically setup everything after you install the linux OS, we will be making it GPL once weve finished testing it.
Next step would be to strip the CentOS server install, add some scripts that will install the required dependencies and the perl cpan modules.

thank you for the easy install.
As a note, Is there a way to check that each step is completed correctly before proceeding band put that in there.
Than you once again. Great work

You can check out
http://www.vicidialnow.com . It's a vicidial linux distro with CentOS as it's base distro. It has almost all the features from the scratch install and a lot more. Feedbacks are welcome.

Yes we will. Just give it a few more weeks. Need to do some more tests.
There are some minor issues with vicidialnow 1.0. The auto cd installer works only with ide cdrom drives. That will be addressed on the next release and will include astguiclient 2.0.4.

Hi Gardo
Congratulations on a job well done! I loaded on a test box and installation was done within 45 minutes.
Just one question..... what is the root username and password?
