I have a FreePBX system dialing through my VICIDial Server (which has T1's) over an IAX trunk when I dial it goes through however I see this in the logs from the VICIDial system..
- Code: Select all

-- AGI Script call_log.agi completed, returning 0
-- Hungup 'IAX2/cobastsrv03-7'
-- Accepting UNAUTHENTICATED call from 192.168.0.7:

> priority = mine
-- Executing Goto("IAX2/cobastsrv03-13", "6026638055|1") in new stack
-- Goto (dialer,6026638055,1)

That all looks quite strange, especially since you say the call goes through.
Is the IAX server registered? ("iax2 show registry")
It is strange that it shows UNAUTHENTICATED if it is. Although freepbx does things in a rather strange way as it is.

funny thing was it wasnt registered I changed the host to dynamic and now it is registered however I am NOW receiving the following error instead of it actually dialling
- Code: Select all
Jun 23 13:56:27 NOTICE[9372]: chan_iax2.c:6796 socket_read: Rejected connect attempt from 192.168.0.7, who was trying to reach '602XXXXXXX@'

Very strange indeed. You might want to post on the asterisk-users or the digium forums about this. I've never seen errors like that before coming out of my IAX connections.

yea i'll give that a go and see what transpires I think it has something to do with the context since from the VICIDial server its using the dialer or outbound context and from the FreePBX its using a different one though thats newb speculation at this point
Thanks again!..
