Hi,
What is the best setup for having multiple campaigns - 5-12 agents. and having also 2-3 campaigns with 20+ agents.
I currently have 1 server for every small campaign (10-12) agents. OR 2 campaign on a server with up to 12 total agents. I am currently using clones as server since this are quite small campaigns.
What are my options since managing MULTIPLE servers is a nightmare. I am using SIP Trunks.
1. How many campaigns of 10 agents each can i Put it on a muti-server setup of Separating vici and DB. I am looking at a Dual Xeon 3Ghz with 4 GB ram on both ends using SIP Trunks.
2. How many campaign dialing at the same time can I put in on a server of 10 agents?
3. If I setup 1 DB Server and multiple Vici/asterisk, using multiple campaigns, Is it just 1 db or do I setup multiple DB for each server.
4. If anything, what is the best setup.
Thank you so much for all the help.

What audio codec are you using?
What kind of bandwidth do you have?
are you recording all calls?

I have 2 separate E1 (2MB) lines and am using G729 as codec with full recording at 10 second delay.

Systems are not really restricted to a number of campaigns, they are restricted to a number of functional lines. Your server should be able to handle 100 G729 channels with full recording at least, but with G729 you really just have to see what your system is capable of, it's not as easy to dimension systems using G729 as it is with Ulaw because of all sorts of factors including your type of hardware, the rate of dialing and the average time of calls.
