configuration suggestion

hi,
1 have 2 T1 pri lines,and i have no hardware can you suggest me the best functioning hardware or can i use voip gateway to convert pri lines to voip and please suggest me the best running version of vikidial.

hi unfortunately can't be done without hardware, you *need* to interface those PRIs somehow with asterisk

you need a pri card - most likely a quad one with echo canceller or not...

then - it is all voip, inside the asterisk

i have synway shd60c pri card which supports 2 e1/t1 pri lines

sangoma and digium both have good cards for the conversion of pri e1/t1 to acceptable asterisk streams. i can't honestly say one is better than another. personally.

the best present method of installation for vicidial is vicibox 2.0.0 (available at vicibox.com)

remember after the installation to come back and thank the vicidial group for the brilliant installer ... a good way to do that is to purchase the Manager's Manual from eflo.net (also a good investment, saves HOURS of frustration!)

The ViciDial Group is a reseller of Sangoma hardware, there are also many other companies that resell Sangoma hardware, just do a search on google, or go to the sangoma.com site for a list of resellers in your country.

We do prefer Sangoma over Digium, and they do have a better track record and warranty to back it up.

i have noticed a lot of users who say "digium won't help me because ...", whereas sangoma seems to be quite responsive. (not lightning fast, but responsive as long as you have their hardware!)
