Remote agent question

Just a general question. Was wondering if there is any way to have a remote agent be called when a call is being connected instead of them dialing into the system? Not directed at any particular version of Vici just a curiosity.

i think you have that a little backwards. remote agents are called, they do not call in to the system. if you are talking about remote agents on the remote agent menu.

Yeah let me correct that. Think I snuck into the halloween candy and was practically in a sugar coma when I wrote that lol. I meant is there a way to have a agent that uses the standard agent interface but does not need to connected to the system via SIP or via dialin access. IE have the system call him when a call is received into the queue? This is basically how a remote agent works however the remote agents do not get an agent interface. They are meant to be "computerless."

there is an interface for the remote agents (allowing certain login-type functions) and there are api's to cover what an agent may do "off the system".

gotta read the WHOLE manual (and with all that sugar in your system, you've obviously got the energy)
