We're on DSL right now and considering getting T1. I need to know how much bandwidth our phone system is going to take up to factor it in. The maximum amount of sip calls I'd have going is about 20. How do I figure out how much bandwidth is needed?

in my experience, a 2MB dedicated leased line can get about 40 to 42 clear audio SIP channels at once on g729 , above it the call quality degrades
