Successfully install vicidial on Debian 6.0 "Squeeze" released + dahdi

how many agents are on the box? how many simultaneous lines? what version did you install? what scratch install directions did you use?

Im using dahdi ........ because zaptel have problem with the latest kernel of DEBIAN 6

you should install dahdi instead of zaptel, and yes you need dahdi because vicidial uses meetme which depends on a timing device, incase you dont have a card dhadi will use dhadi_dummy as its timing device

dahdi/zaptel are not "optional" in vicidial (they are for asterisk, though)

vicidial relies on meetme rooms. meetme rooms are actually conferences. conferences require zaptel or dahdi to run. so you must install one or the other. zaptel requires hardware or ztdummy for timing. dahdi loads dahdidummy automatically without a sep module installation.

i'll go back to that step and configure it. i dont have hardware. i'll just follow the config mentioned.
