Allowed ingroups

Has anyone ever modded vici so that you can have a drop down list of alowed inbound formats? For instance A team gets ingroups 1-50 B team gets 25-75, C team gets 51-100.

I don't understand exactly what you are asking, could you describe in more detail please?

Since June of Last year, we've need to create over 150 ingroups. We only need our ingroups and campaigns active for about 6-8 months. Not all agents are in all ingroups, and this can change multiple times during a day as I evaluate an agents performance.

So I guess I actually have 2 questions:

1. Is it possible to have a "hide from list" option for OB Campaigns?

2. Is it possible to create something similar to how campaigns are handled by user group but separate for ingroups. Like creating Inbound Profiles, and on the agent screen instead of having tons of check boxes and custom VAR fields, have a drop down to select the inbound profile just like we do with user groups currently - and then on the inbound profile page be able to allow campaign ranks and user groups for the whole profile. - I know a lot of people have agent specific VARs, so this might need to have an enable/disable option either per campaign or in the admin section.

Maybe it's specific to me, but I think doing this would really cut down on a lot of clutter (maybe even user modify pages would load faster!), it would also allow the list of agents to be taken out of the ingroup modify screen.

This is not currently a feature, but I'm sure it could be added at some point.

We do have a client with over 900 in-groups currently that asked about something like this, but as we were going through their requirements to add the features they stopped and said they would just work with the system as is.

Could you explain the "hide from list" question in more detail?

As for in-group profiles, adding this as an Inbound sub-section as well as an option in Users, User Groups, Campaigns, DIDs, Call Menus, In-Groups, Remote Agents and all of the reports would take a significant amount of work, but it could certainly be done.

For the "hidden" ingroup and campaign option - I'm thinking something similar to how the users work (but active/inactive doesn't mean the same thing for campaigns and ingroups), but with just a little 1/0 toggle that shows or hides it in the "show campaigns" or "show ingroups" area - and pop a link in those sections just like for the users that lets you view everything if you need to. Not pulling it out of reporting areas or anything like that - just an option to see a cleaner screen that loads a little faster.

I understand, thanks for the explanation.

All together, this looks like something that would take around 40 hours of development, or $8000.

Wow! Since it's a matter of conveince - I'm not sure I can get that much allocated for it. Sad face. Here's hope to many more requests for this so it can be a bounty! :D
