Daylight savings time

Hi guys, I want to ask if its one of the features of vicidial to automatically adjust to daylight savings time, because everytime I start a campaign at 0700 hours it doesnt start to load at 0800 hours , a 1 hour differential

Indeed it does it, be sure that the country code is correct (ie: 39 for italy) and the following line in uncommented in your crontab:

You also have to make sure that Linux and PHP have their zone set properly for where your server is located.

I have set the servers timezone to its location in the UK, so I need to edit php.ini and set it to the same timezone i set the server in? or does php adjust to the linux servers settings?

It depends on the version of PHP, you should check php.ini to be sure.

It's always safest to set in both php.ini files specifically to match the OS timezone.

Perhaps, however, you should describe how you "start a campaign at 0700 hours ". Do you mean that is when the agents log in? 0700? Or is this a setting somewhere such as local time settings which are related to the zone of each individual lead ... so you must also check the individual leads in the list to see what zone they are in ...?

vicidial sorts timezones out based on phone_code field right?

country_code followed by phone_number unless set to use zip codes.

Default: phone_code(which is the country code) then areacode if applicable
Optional 1: zip code in the USA
Optional 2: NANPA areacode and prefix if in the USA (have to pay for this one)
Optional 3: time zone abbreviation in the 'owner' field (EST, MST, etc...)
