Attended Transfer is not working

Postby max.asterisk » Mon Apr 30, 2012 8:13 am

We have installed
centos 5.7 64 bit,
asterisk 1.4.43,
Vicidial:2.4.RC1.

We are having issues with attended trasfer.
Here is the flow which we are using for attended transfer.
1) We are receiving incoming calls from inbound DID number and we are able to connect with agent,
2) Now we need to transfer this call to another sip user (sip phone) which is registered, so we will park incoming call and press transfer
3) We will make call to sip user 1001 for example and we put this number in text field and press dial with customer,
And it will connected from asterisk and it will be in conference, but we are seeing on vicidial agent page as ringing, and we can grab the call which is parked,
so three calls are connected in asterisk but in vicidial agent page that sip 1001 is still ringing and then timeout, and because of that agent can not leave three way.

Issue: when we have transfer call to sip user it is connected in conference but it is not showing on vicidial agent page, it is keep ringing on that and then timeout.
So, what might be issue with that? and is there any other method to do this kind of attended transfer?

1) Welcome to the party!

2) I see you tried to post relevant system information, but you left off some very important details: The single most important is the BUILD of asterisk. Also, you did not mention your installation method at all. So let's see if this old standard will help you:

when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600

3) Have you read the manager's manual for consultative transfers?
