Hey guys,
I noticed that in several calls the prospect is left saying >hello hello? and the first part of the call is missing (maybe 3-4 seconds ).
I taught it might be because of the grey lines and I kind of brushed it off and said "ah well, dialer is for volume anyway" but then several experienced telemarketers told me that it was a common problem with dialers.
I dial only a single line by agent, so is it possible to simply have them listen to that single line exclusively to avoid that problem?

It's a common problem for dialers that are configured incorrectly. You should be testing this yourself in a test environment to find out why it happens.
It is entirely possible that your P4 is overworked, or that you have activated AMD ... or any one of several other possibilities, but it should not cause enough of a delay for the prospect to notice it on a properly configured system.
