Would Vicidail be right for me

I have 3 telemarketers right now, I've been looking for a web based solution.

I've looked at five9 and hosted dialer, I was thinking that maybe there's some open source stuff other there and I could just have my own coded.
I called Vicidial they told me that the number of agents I have is too little and would get a high rate of dropped calls.

I don't have servers at my location, would it be wise to host this on a dedicated server?

Any input is appreciated.

predictive dialing would be a problem with only 3 users.

I have a older dailagoic based system and it worked fine I used 6 lines and didn't have that much of a problem. I did get drops but it was ok.

Do you have a hosted dedicated server now?

if not

If you have computer with 1-2 gigs ram and a fairly decent cpu, you could just download vicidial and give it a try.

I have a dedi now, I guess I'll have to mess with it. Without the added cost of a dialing company I can hire more agents. What would be ideal to run this type of system? 10 plus?

no not a vps, a real dedicated.

I run bots on it for my SEO stuff.

What do you mean 10max?

10max of agents, but it depends on many factors. like recording or not. line:agents ratio

20 agents

3:1 lines to agent ratio

single quad-core CPU, 4GB RAM, ES-SATA drives
