Hi, first time to setup voicemail, if anyone can add up on my info regarding setting up voicemail for vicidial 2.0.5

-I already manually setup an extensions on the voicemail.conf and pointed it to my INgroup for inbound incoming calls.

-Next il be using the default extensions which 8500 on accessing the voicemail by agents and user...

but how do i setup the custom dial plan for my DID number after a time specified for waiting or if all agents are busy during an incoming call is queue

are this dial plan specified it..?

exten => _85026666666666.,1,Wait(1)
exten => _85026666666666.,2,Voicemail(${EXTEN:14}|u)
exten => _85026666666666.,3,Hangup
exten => 8500,1,VoicemailMain
exten => 8500,2,Goto(s,6)
exten => 8501,1,VoicemailMain(s${CALLERID(num)})
exten => 8501,2,Hangup

ill be replacing _85026666666666 with my DID number and also this is vicidial generated. where i set this up on the vicidial admin..?

I am still unclear un what exactly you are trying to do.

Any reason you can't just use the settings in the web interface?

@matt thanks for replying..

The setup is having voicemail for incoming calls to my DID number when agents can't attend the call and all are busy attending others. And agents can access the voicemailbox

Im using vicidial 2.0.5.., what you mean i can setup all of this using admin interface only..? without manually editing the conf files.

You should only need to edit the voicemail.conf file for 2.0.5 to create actual voicemail boxes. in 2.0.5 you can set the drop action to be voicemail and set the voicemail box field to the voicemail box number you want the call to go to after the drop timeout.

In 2.2.0 you can configure voicemail boxes entirely in the web interface as well.

ok matt- so no need to setup dial plan for my DID number for incoming call to goto a voicemail extensions.

Those steps only and i can get a working voicemail for my unattended incoming calls and way agents can access it right away.
