Performance asterisk 1.2 VS 1.4

not much, but Asterisk 1.4 is much more SIP compliant and works better with more SIP carriers out there than 1.2 does.
Please remember that 1.4.21.2 and 1.4.27.1 are the current recommended Asterisk releases
