Hello there,
I would like to know if the following configuration is possible:

Server 1:
Asterisk (Phone Login, meetme conferences, asterisk sounds etc)

Server 2:
MySQL
Apache
astguiclient (agi scripts, crontab entries etc)

For both of them I would like to use OpenSuse 11.1

Any hint?

nope, AGI scripts have to be run on the local Asterisk server, except for the FastAGI_log.pl script which you could run from another machine.

best method is to install vicidial completely on both machines and then disable or just ignore the functions you don't want. the directions for Clustering or Multiple Servers are readily available.

The simplest form of multiple servers, however, is to move MySQL to another box. This does not require ANYTHING except mysql to be running on the other box (in fact, it can be a generic mysql cluster that doesn't even know vicidial exists, all it needs to do is send data when requested)
