Have anyone tried installing Vicidial on HP Proliant ML110 G6 running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS?
I'm kinda thinking that the Base Installation of Ubuntu 10.04 is bloated. Can somebody help me strip it to bare minimum?

Did you set up logical volumes in RAID mode?
According to this wiki physical disks should be visible. I read it's fake raid anyway, confirm and use Linux software raid instead.
Look for B110i controller:

Thanks to all those who spent their precious time answering my post. I made it working last night using Vicibox 2.0 but I'm still hopeful that I can install Ubuntu 8.04 or Debian in this Server

I have a few ML580's running Vicibox. I am a Redhat fan, and I like ubuntu but to be honest SuSe does a great job with Vici. Very good driver support as well. Vici has me becoming quite a fan of SuSe.
