Hi, my setup is:

VERSION: 2.4-256
BUILD: 100523-0840
asterisk 1.4.30
dahdi-linux-complete-2.2.0.2+2.2.0
vtigercrm-5.1.0
Vtiger510_vicidial_002_noclose.patch

I changed routers (I was testing a router) and then returned to my original router. Now I cannot access my server.

chris@chris-laptop:~$ sudo ssh 192.168.1.100
[sudo] password for chris:
ssh: connect to host 192.168.1.100 port 22: Connection refused

But nothing has changed in my original router settings and they were working fine before.

I have rebooted the server, power cycled modem and router, and rebooted my PC.

any thoughts? ~ thanks

1) log in to the console and enter:
Code: Select all
ifconfig

what is the server's ip?
2) can the server ping your laptop?
Code: Select all
ping xx.xx.xx.xx -c 1

3) can BOTH your laptop and the server ping the inside of the router?
4) did you change dhcp settings in the router? are you still on the same subnet as the server? :)
5) did you change network settings on the server for your new router and forget to change them back?

Thanks William.
I was not able to ping the server and the server couldn't ping my PC. I power cycled and rebooted several times and the last time it healed itself. Don't know what happened but I won't be removing my router again any time soon...
