Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way through which we can control the calls from being dropped using vicidial. It is very difficult to set the auto dial level on a certain rate as you dont know how many people are going to answer the call and the calls end up in waiting and then being dropped which I dont want. Is there anyway we can control this please.

Use predictive dialling with the appropriate settings. Something to start from:

when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and OS with kernel or version, vicidial version and build, asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box.

Similar to This:
Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X Build XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)
___

The Manager's Manual has two versions: Free and Paid. It is required that you read at least one of them. While you are reading it, you may search for the word "Drop" and check your campaign settings.

You'll likely find that if you follow the above directions (read the free manual and stickies in the forum categories), you'll have a lot of your questions answered and you'll be able to use your system more effectively.

THEN if you don't understand an item, we'll be able to help you through your problems. :)
