Vicidialnow not dialing out

Hi all,

I am just a newbie to vicidial. I was trying out GoAutoDial CE 2.0.
I followed out the how to get started provided and the installation went well
until the part where I tested it out. I cant make outbound calls. I looked into the logs of asterisk while making a call and this was what came out:

so you are still getting it going ... let's go over some basics:

when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and OS with kernel or version, vicidial version and build, asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box.

Similar to This:

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

Then you could try limiting your carrier to ULAW in the vicidial setup and verify that your account at your carrier will support ULAW on the connection you are using (it is possible you specified GSM when you created the connection at your carrier's site, but did not allow GSM in the vicidial setup ... so it is simplest to just change everything to ULAW to get it running).

Also: did you successfully connect a phone to your system before you tried to hook up a carrier (logging in to VICIdial and hearing "You are the only person in this conference" is a good feeling that you have actually heard your cool new dialer SPEAK, LOL).

Where exactly are you in the tutorial? (one step at a time ...)

Post your settings (all of them) for this carrier if you are not sure (that does not mean post an entire configuration file, never do that, just the settings you entered for this carrier in Admin->Carriers)
