VERSION: 2.4b0.5
Asterisks: 1.4.21.2

Additionally,

Is there a scenario where vicidial would reset a lead list automatically without manually doing a "Reset Lead-Called-Status for this list" Our Admin log for a few of our campaigns do not have any modifications. The lists were dialed to 0, but the next morning they had dialable leads in them with no manual resets. Thanks.

Do you have anything in the "Reset Times" List field?

Do you have any Lead Recycling defined in any of your campaigns?

what is your "local call time" set to?

you may have been outside that call time for everyone the night before.

but in the morning (especially if you're on the west coast) at 9AM it's already noon on the other side of the US. Lots of calls available that you could not make at 9PM on the West Coast (because then it was midnight on the East Coast, so those calls would be filtered out).

On both campaigns we have noticed this on they do not have any data in the "Reset Time" Fields and the Lead Recycling does not have any active lead recycling statuses. Our Local Calling times are 9AM to 8PM. Meaning we are avoiding any calls to any timezone before 9AM till no later than 8PM.

In regards to the call times, we are in Mountain Standard Time (no adjustments for DST), Will the dialer automatically adjust its dialable leads in each campaign based upon our set call times and local time, and then when those leads are now available to dial, put them back into the dialable leads per campaign?

We have people dialing leads all over the country till 8PM MST, so we are trying to avoid any calls to say central or east coast time zones around those hours and vice versa in the mornings. Slightly off topic there, but hopefully related. Thanks for the help.

it is directly related. the local call time is not MST or EST or any TZ specifically and is not related to the AGENTS. it is only related to the leads. so if a lead is in a time zone where it is 8:01PM (for the lead), the system will not dial that lead, because it is outside your "local call time" settings. But at 9:01AM tomorrow morning (for that lead, not your agents), it will become available to dial.

example: you are MST and I am EST. If my number is on your list and it is 7:30PM MST, it is 9:30PM EST so the system will not show me as a number you can dial. If I'm the only number in your list, it will show ZERO available leads. You'll go home. At 9:01AM MST, when you get back to the office, it will already be 11:01AM EST so my number will have been available to dial for over two hours.

that is the purpose of the local call time setting. To be sure you do not call anyone when it is too early or too late FOR THEM (the local attorney general in each state has no sense of humor that someone in California may not take into account that it's midnight in NYC when it's only 9PM in California. So at 8:45PM in that room in LA, when the room is dialing full blast ... the dialer itself filters out all the leads from Mountain to Eastern and all they will dial is leads where the local time is before 9PM, which would be PST ONLY).
