Agents allowed for ingroup

Postby KDell » Tue Nov 30, 2010 11:47 am

So I noticed two areas to control this since the update, one on the agent page, and also on the page for the ingroup. Are these synched? Does choosing one override the other? Or do both have to be active?

you may be a little confused: agents are allowed into ingroups, and campaigns may have ingroups "available". in the ingroups themselves is only a listing of the agents allowed in the group with Rank (no editing).

unless something changed?

Yes, something has changed recently in 2.4, you can now edit the user in-group settings per in-group directly in the in-group modification screen, including rank assignment per user.

In that case I'll hazard a guess at an answer to KDell's question: it's not a matter of syncing them, it's the same information being edited in two different screens, but a single storage location for that information. (Essentially a new way to get to the information)

That sounds to me like you ought to at least tip Matt $50 on the online donation button (i think it makes a little bell in his office go "ding" and he smiles or something, indicating happiness :))

If you want to keep up to date on our development of new features, you should subscribe to our twitter feed:
http://twitter.com/vicidial_dev

And if you are going to donate to us, it would be better if you actually bought our manuals through vicidial.org, because there is a bigger processing fee on "donations" through sourceforge for some reason.
