Possible to Hang any Agent Call from the Admin Panel ?

in 2.0.5?

did you know that in addition to a "dialer" (named vicidial), you also have a PBX named "astguiclient"? which has a sep login and can be used to watch channels and such ... /agc/astguiclient.php

Possible? Absotively. But someone has to pay for it. You should start by making a request in the features section and the Issue Tracker.

You could even make an offer in the Requests for Consutation section (bounty)

I see something Like this :

Admin Hang Up - Set to true to allow user to be able to hang up any line at will through astGUIclient. Good idea only to enable this for Admin users.

Any One tried it ?

we have a couple clients using FOP which obviously has hangup capability, but nothing directly in vicidial. clients usually just use the emergency log out without a hangup.

It's a part of FreePBX

Actually it's not "part", but it's installed with it, it's actually a mini-pbx viewer/changer that runs in Flash. Once you learn how to use it (what categories will show up, how to create columns, etc) it's a very cool little tool.

But we only have a couple clients who use it and they use it IN freepbx. Flash Operator Panel :)

expensive on both.

but the FOP is more likely to be "useful". more of a simple handy tool.

but in either case the answer is "yes". I have just not done it since 2.0.4 in gentoo (cuz noone wants to pay for it any more, vicidial has enough features to dump freepbx now :) )

although, actually, i think i did do it for a couple clients in 2.0.5 Ubuntu :)

How about AST_timeonVDADall.php page have a "Hang Up" call Link which will hang up the currently running call ?

Like the way we have for Listen and Barge.

No. There is no way to hang up an agents phone call from the admin interface of Vicidial in any version. If this was added it would need to be heavily logged as it is ripe for abuse.

That said you could write your own hang up function using the Agent API, but I would be very careful who you give this ability to.

you could also easily check the "OLD" astguiclient.php interface. if it doesn't do what you want ... it can be modified. :)

but having a "preference" for "kill this call" available on real time would be dangerous but doable. or perhaps in the "emergency log this agent out" an "emergency kill this agent's session completely kill recording, kill client call, kill agent session, log out!". Yep, dangerous. But fun.
