P1 Question

I have a question. Has anyone had much success with P1 abilities in Vici? I have a client who insists on doing a P1 campaign. I setup a campaign as per the manual and it runs however his success rates are really poor on Vici. It works great if he uses an outside company like telserv. The messages playing, and line count are the same. Any ideas from the more seasoned crowd?

VERSION: 2.4-285
BUILD: 101022-1427
ViciBox Redux 3
Asterisk 1.4

We've run several very successful press one / broadcast / survey campaigns with 2.0.4,2.0.5,and 2.4 (i don't remember if we ever used 2.2.1 for one). takes some tweaking, and has some interesting oddities, but it works. we've gotten up to 400 lines on a core2quad with this (and NO local agents, all remote).

Any additional pointers outside of the manual? I have done everything that the manual has suggested so far.

set your priority to 0 (even, not "50!")

keep your "calls per second" low to reduce "peak" loads (watch the cli to be sure it "catches up" regularly)

use "available only tally" combined with a low "max calls per server" to keep agents busy and reduce the number of "dials" when agents are busy, but max out when agents are not busy.

ALWAYS put yourself (your cell?) in every few thousand calls to be sure your system is working as expected (your agents should eventually get used to hearing your voice and knowing they've just been "checked" along with the rest of the system, at least hourly, for the first few days). Be sure "pressing one" has the desired effect. Be sure there's someone there immediately to take the order who says something other than "duh, hello?" (I hate that, the prospect must hear HAPPY MUSICAL VOICES! :) The beatings will continue until Morale Improves!!!).
