Do you mean "Free" or "Linux"?

I don't think there's a free softphone that has g729 support. G729 is not open source so most open source or free softphones don't support it. Next best thing is to use GSM (13kbps) instead. A little bit higher on the bandwidth consumption but supported by most softphones. :)

Thank you for answer.
We are looking a soft phone for a Linux operative system.
Because we are going to use workstation for agents under Linux OS.
We send an email to counter path (x-lite) and they said they don't have softphone for Linux.

zoiper, linphone, twinkle. but you'll likely have to get a paid version of one of those to get g729.
