Guys, what tricks do you use to convert the standard reports to nice readable and sortable excel reports?

use a php script that extracts the sql query into a xls file

Ahhhh, is there a php script like that lying around that I don't know of or is it something that I have to pay for?

there are alot of php resources if you just search google for php + xls or php + csv , you will have to modify the php scripts of vicidial that does the reporting side
