if you do not know what internet explorer is ... there may be no help for you

goautodial is managed with firefox REMOTELY. it is an apache (web) server. you do not run a web CLIENT on it. just server.
have you followed through the getting started guide? if so, where are you (page and line) so we can help you finish
williamconley wrote:there is no "GUI mode". it's a linux server, which has only command line on the server directly. You are not expected to "log in" directly to the server after it has been set up. Most linux servers are almost never touched directly after setup (many are never touched directly at all because they are located in a remote facility and never even seen by their owners!)
firefox is a web browser you will load onto YOUR desktop machine (but is not required, you may use Internet Explorer).
You will use internet explorer or firefox to browse to the IP address of your vicidial server.
Is this not covered in the getting started guide?
williamconley wrote:1) Go to "GoAutoDial.com"
2) Click on "Wiki" at the top
3) Click on "Getting Started Guide"
4) Send an email to Gardo asking very nicely to place a link to "Getting Started Guide" very obviously on the home page
