Leads not getting loaded into hopper

I've got a new issue as of first thing this morning.

There are no calls being loaded into the hopper for either of my outbound dialing campaigns. There have been no changes in the outbound dialing campaigns.

Right now I have two lists being loaded into a campaign. Each list has about 500 leads that all have a status of "NEW" and both lists are flagged as active.

I have an outbound campaign that has those two lists in it.

When I bring up that campaign I see that it says:

----
This campaign has 2 active lists and 0 inactive lists

This campaign has 1003 leads to be dialed in those lists - HIDE

This campaign has 0 leads in the dial hopper
----

I have rebooted the server and that didn't help.

Where would I look next?

Did you have a power outage?

Change your IP address?

System crash?

Check your logs (/var/log/astguiclient) and see if vicidial is "trying" to put leads in or if it believes you do not need any. This can also be seen by watching the appropriate "screen", but since it's stored to a log anyway ...

if you had a power outage, you likely have a corrupt table and need to use mysqlcheck with autorepair on the asterisk database

Code: Select all
mysqlcheck --auto-repair asterisk
if you have a root mysql password, you must add "-p" to the end of that to prompt you for the password.

Weird.

Checked the hopper log and didn't see anything in there for messages in regards to my third campaign. Do see messages about every minute to do with the other two campaigns in my system.

Ran the mysqlcheck command and it had no affect.

Then did the following:

a) Deleted my third campaign
b) Assigned my two lists to one of my other two campaigns
c) Recreated my campaign
d) Assigned my two lists back to my newly created campaign

Now if I look in the hopper log I do see messages about the newly created campaign.

Not sure what happened. No power outage. No system crash. Things just stopped working. I do have my system set up in crontab to reboot every morning at 2AM but there is nobody in the building at that time so there wouldn't be any activity on the system.

You may need to run the hopper script manually in debug mode and see if you can find what is going wrong. At the very least you'll see it making a "bad call" or you should see it attempting (but failing) to load leads.

Also: Is your drive full? 8)

just went through a similar thing, don't know if it applies? If someone other than you plays with the dialer, double check what you know what works (your settings) against what you see on the screen. Someone today and won't admit it, changed the minimal hopper level to 1. So it only dialed one number at a time. changed the setting and everything worked out, even after a reboot (first thing i did :? ) just in case.

Thank you

All in one solution my friends just do one thing create a dial status(add) as New leads, then upload the leads and you can see leads in hopper you need to wait only one minute after leads upload.

I've also had a client who set local call time to "9AM to 9PM" and when the agents all logged in at 8:55AM (five minutes early), he panicked because there were no leads. After pulling his hair for a few (less than 5) minutes, he called me in a complete panic and I told him to hold his breath for 60 seconds and it would all magically begin to work as soon as he turned blue.

Then I reminded him about the 9AM start, of course.

The campaigns have a lot of settings, but only a few of them deal directly with "leads allowed to load". Those are:

Turn this off: Lead Filter
Check against existing leads and add some that match: Dial Status
AND verify that none of the statuses are "DNC" statuses!
Set to 24 hours: Local Call Time
Set to "0": Call Count Limit
Set to 200 or above: Hopper Level
Set to Random: List Order (if you choose one of the "2nd" through "6th" options!)
Disable: List Mix (not recommended for beginners)
Set to "0": Drop Lockout Time
Set to "N": Hopper VLC Dup Check
Verify that your leads have phone numbers that are VALID and match your dialplan.
You also may need to verify that your leads are not already in the DNC
