vicidial iphone android application monitor

I am interested in programming a iphone app for vicidial.

If you have a moment, please comment on what features you would like to see.

This app will be targeted to call center managers that need to get a status report on their call center while they are away from their computer.

My vision for the beta is to simply mimic the real time monitor (but make it simpler and formatted for the iphone screen).

Most importantly, I need your feedback so I can prioritize features.

*I'll run a poll to see what platform you want. However please note I only have iphone programming experience and android will probably come at a much later date, if ever. I simply want to run a poll because I have never done it before on this forum software :)

thanks

Absolutely love this idea.

Our suits all have iPhones and tech have Androids (go figure) and I bet this pattern is repeated throughout the call centre industry.

Some handy features that you could include would be the ones that are most likely to be require you to leave your desk like:
- Troubleshooting agent terminals ability to emergency log agents out, change ingroups, view per agent stats etc.
- Resetting lists on the fly nothing worse than being called back to your desk because that list you thought would last another hour has burned through in 20 minutes!

And things that would be useful for training / coaching like:
- Per agent stats breakdowns and comparisons

Great feedback, thank you. I would have never guessed list reset but totally makes sense.

I would suggest the realtime report. Also being abke ti change campaign adapt/ratio values, the dial level difference target and dropped rate. Also being able to modify the lists and the filters.

Thank you GaD. I'll add this to the list.

If you are reading this post, please comment. I need more feedback. Thank you!

my phone is not in the list, I will get a maemo/meego phone soon (the awsome nokia n900 8))
but I agree that this is probably the most common:

My opinion is that it would be best to develop a web-ui designed for smartphone-screens and thus supporting all smartphones that got a browser

Thank you for the feedback. I will consider this and I'm a fan of this article http://bit.ly/xSSGEF explaining how to make web apps look like ios.

The one drawback I see to a web page vs. app is the app can save your login information, use "Notifications", and will have a much deeper interaction with the device. Not saying I have the skills to do this but imagine having the same vicidial app also act as a SIP phone to monitor/barge on calls.

IMHO the current vicidial administrator areas actually already work on the mobile device and my goal is to have something that operates with iphone since that is what I have experience with.

need help: if anyone knows of a opensource SIP phone for xcode/ios that I can tweak into this app I would be interested in giving it a try.

Have you tried Siphon? Not used it myself but I saw it recommended somewhere else.

Nope, never seen it but it looks just about perfect.

1) I'll install it and give it a try today
2) Looks like all that is missing is a auto answer feature

thank you leseul !!

check out 3CXPhone... they make a great sip phone for the Iphone and Android. It is really nice and follows the look for both platforms. I've been using it a while now
