Monitor and IN/OUT channel

Postby lat3450 » Fri May 11, 2012 12:36 pm

Hello,

When recording via the 8309 extension (with Monitor), the IN and OUT files generated do not have separated audio, the IN file has both channels mixed in and the OUT file weights only 1KB has no audio.

What can i do to split the audio between both channels as Monitor does by default?

Thanks

Version: 2.0.5-174
Build #: 90522-0506
Followed the Scratch Ubuntu install (http://astguiclient.sourceforge.net/Ubuntu_Install.txt)
No other software installed on the box.
I've read the manager manual.

That's not an option in Vicidial with how we have to do recording.

Hi Matt,

I think Asterisk does this by default right?
Why is not possible to do this in vicidial?

Thanks

Because we are recording meetme room conversations, which have to be recorded in a specific way, which causes the audio to all be pre-mixed into one channel. Once we have Asterisk 1.8 compatibility completed, we plan on looking into a way to have non-mixed audio recordings work with some of the new recording options of Asterisk 1.8.
