Anyway to send messages to agents?

Just wanted to throw this out there in case anybody knows an easy fix...
Was wondering if there was some way to send messages to individual agents or all agents on a particular campaign or in a particular user group???
It would be a nice way to alert offsite agents to switch campaigns or something like that.

That is one of the features of the planned IM/chat functionality that we will begin working on later this year.

We've deployed internal IM through a separate service with OpenFire as a Jabber (XMPP) server and Pidgin as clients. Works like a charm!

ill have to give that a try... ive never heard of openfire or jabber server before
