Vici, automated speech attendant

Thought I would post a sort of a shoot the #@$! with people on the forum post.

Has anyone ran an automated attendant with speech recognition on a predictive style campaign? I got a call from some call center that is obviously using VICI as I heard the typical bubble pop sound and then an automated attendant picked up, asking how I was doing and proceeded to pitch the product(home security). I am pretty sure it was TTS and the TTS sounded great. It actually threw me for a bit and I thought it might of been a real person lol. Has anyone else seen this in practice? It was sort of cool, kinda geek-ed out on it.

many companies have moved toward this model for TTS voice. there are several companies that provide TTS voicing, all encumbered fairly heavily and generally require use of their servers (ie: hosted voice).
