Hello,

Has anyone tested the implementation of these guidelines?

Are there any such recommendations for Digium cards?

Thanks,

Interesting. But we don't have any sangoma/digium cards in any of our client boxes locally. And none have expressed issues with overload on any machines with cards in them. No overload issues = no reason to reduce load ...

I tried that when installing a new Sangoma A104D card and ended up with quite inconsistent and bad results from zttest.
After a few emails back and forth with Sangoma with various attempts to better up those results by playing with dahdi/zaptel, firmware and driver versions, including beta ones (great support, response time and attitude from Sangoma by the way), I gave up deciding not to dig any longer in this direction and play safe.

Mind you, not saying you will have the same result, we needed that box in production asap, there could have been some tricks and steps which were missed and most likely there were, just sharing my experience if it helps at all. And sorry, can't be more detailed, that was a few years ago.

As far as I remember Matt was involved in this study, hopefully he will share his thoughts.

Odd. I've never had a client with digium or sangoma card who had anything less than perfect test results.

The bad results were after applying the changes mentioned. With default config everything was and still is perfect.
