Need help/contractor for Inbound Routing

Hi all,

I have Vcibox from .iso | Vicidial 2-6-381a Build 121114-1923 | Asterisk 1.4.44-vici | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation

Our phone system is working well for outbound IVR calls, outbound manual calls, and inbound direct DID calls. My remaining issue is I have attempted to set up ring_all on an ingroup to have an 800# ring to all our physcial SIP phones, yet no one is able to answer the calls -- when they pick up it states 'disconnected' and the phone continues to ring. My log of an attempted inbound call is below.

I have hired a VICI/asterisk contractor in the past to log in and assist, but they are backlogged and cannot help at the moment -- if someone out there can offer advice or their services, I'd be grateful.

Thanks!

You should be using an INGROUP to route the calls. You should also have Remote Agents logged in to the INGROUP. And the Remote Agents should be linked to phones (in Admin->Phones). Both the phone and the Remote Agent should have "on-hook" as YES.

Then the path would be: Carrier -> DID -> InGroup -> Remote Agent -> Phone (ringing all phones in the ingroup).

This requires the Remote agents be logged in to a Campaign and the checkbox for that ingroup be checked in the remote agent. The checkbox for that ingroup must also be checked for that Ingroup in the Campaign.

It's not hard, but it's easier if you set it up with Live Agents in the Ingroup first, and then figure out how to use Remote Agents instead.

Hi William,

I did that exact thing ... I don't know if the code shows it, but all the extensions starting with a 9 (ie 9284) is a remote agent.

The issue is the phones ring, but someone picking up their phone only receives the inbound caller about 20% of the time ...

HI ... 282 through 286 are local sip extensions, all set up with 'on hook' answering.

troubleshoot 1

1. login only one agent with onhook , in same subnet of the server resides.
2. check the inbound and let us know the result wit cli

troubleshoot2
1. in DID route instead of ingroup assign phone
2. in phone field either any one of those extensions.
3. check the inbound calll and attend the phone , and capture full cli and paste it here

Hi Striker -- we tried the one agent on hook, and still encountered the same error. When we try to assign the DID to a phone, everything works fine. I'll paste the log as soon as I get a chance.

Boybawang -- what did you do to fix the issue?
