Near-realtime hopper insertion from webform

I'm generating leads via web kiosks in various locations around the country, the lead data is stored in a MySQL database on my hosted web server. I'm thinking about having that data posted directly into Vicidial and basically append the vicidial_list table right after the data hits my webserver. My goal is to contact the potential customers as quickly as possible and was wondering if it's feasible to just insert the record at the end of the vicidial_list table and get that data into the hopper so an agent can reach out to the customer quickly. Then could I just set the list order to 'UP' and get those leads into the hopper within ~ 1 min. of generation? Time isn't super critical and that's not even the main goal, I just want to make sure the data can be posted to Vicidial's lead database cleanly without causing any problems. Sounds reasonable to me. What do you guys think?

Any reason you aren't using the non-agent API to do this? It allows for direct hopper insertion.
