Hi,
I would like to find out if there is anything else besides sip, rtp and web access to vicidial that needs to be prioritized let's say on a cisco switch or router to help call quality and avoid any qos related issues.
Thank you.

actually, you should be addressing the port numbers not the protocol names. just to be safe. 5060 udp does not affect call quality, but 10000-25000 (all udp) definitely does. remember that lowering port 80's QoS rating to the vicidial server can cause serious problems with "time sync errors" if your agents drop packets to the vicidial agent web server.
of course a slight delay isn't a problem, but outright dropping is bad.
also remember that sometimes iax is in use (between servers especially). don't overlook 4569 udp.
i will note that we do not use any router (cisco or otherwise) to our vicidial servers. we use whitelisted iptables in the server itself. we've found that removing any "non-asterisk" links in the chain has made the chain quite sturdy.

Newer routers and switches can do QoS on package headers and prioritize VoIP.
But from my experience, the network works best without QoS

I agree with DomeDan. If you have to rely on QoS to make sure that your system is working right, it means your network is overloaded to begin with and you should be solving that problem first. QoS is a bandaid not a cure.

Thanks to everyone. My network is not overloaded but I just want to make sure the right services are prioritized.
