Hi there I'm using vicidial :
VERSION: 2.8-420a
BUILD: 131210-1741
© 2013 ViciDial Group
I was calling Ontario and US from 12pm-10pm. Everything was working fine but when 8:15pm occurred we start experiencing long wait times and even when the dial speed was set to 80 we still had over 2 min wait times. Our US campaigns were also starting to get affected as well. Can someone please provide some insight ?

1) Try putting fresh leads in during this period
2) Run a completely separate campaign (preferably on its own dialer for ease of troubleshooting ... if you have a multiple server system, move everyone OFF one of them for the test ...) and put your own Cell in that list. Set the hopper level to ONE so it can only call you once per minute. See if it calls you every minute or if any of these calls fail when they should have completed.
3) Be sure your CONGESTION or CANCEL do not suddenly "jump" during this period (often a sign that your carrier or internet connection may have issues). This can be observed in the Realtime monitor by turning on carrier stats.
