Unknown calls coming in to softphone

Hello,
We are experiencing an issue where an agent registers their phone to our Vici domains. They successfully connect to the Vici meetme rooms and conduct business as usual. However, an agent will seem to get "found" by some outside party and that agent will received HUNDREDS of calls from this outside party directly to their softphone. It doesn't happen to everyone but once it happens to someone, they can't usually escape them.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on how to make it stop? Apparently, there is no way to turn off the call waiting feature thru Asterisk, Vici, or linphone.
