Hi.

I have an question from my client. Is there a way to play a recording to customer in the middle of conversation?

It should works like this:
- Agent is working in outgoing campaign
- Agent gets a call to customer
- Conversation between Agent and Customer is in progress then Agent press a button/switch/something and a recording (mp3, wav) is played to Customer.
- When the recording is played Agent can still hear a Customer
- It will be good to mute microphone od Agent when the recording is played
- Agent can stop the recording at any time and get back to Customer and carry on the conversation

Can this be done in Vicidial?

Or maybe I need external software to do this? I was thinking about Audacity but it is not working as i have describe.

Agent works on computer with Windows XP.

Any suggestion on this problem?

This product will provide the feature you require. Open Source. It can be modified to produce sounds from virtually any source available to the server (as long as the sounds are formatted properly for asterisk).

There are also other sound boards available, of course, this is just the one WE made for this purpose.
