Hi everyone i'm having problems with outbound calls within campaing, it shows UID: M2061952360000000009 as caller name, does not show the Campaign CallerID, this is a new installation, so i do not have any data on the server, so i reinstalled the server from scratch and it's happening again ... Im using Xlite, Bria and Zoiper as softphone ...

Any Solutions ????

Are you testing this by dialing out through the telco and back through another phone connected to the same telco?

Have you tried using a different carrier?

Are you in Canada?

What is the Caller ID number that you are trying to outpulse?

I too have been having the same issue, using Telnyx as my provider. I am trying to go through some older posts to see if it can be resolved. This is a new installation and is only happening on this one server, all my other servers are not doing this. I know it can be the pertaining CO that houses the DID but I have a client whom is ready to depart if I cannot resolve this week... so it may be time to try another provider but I feel this will not fix this. Is there a carrier setting matt that would allow us to force a clean DID out?

Cheers

This has nothing to do with the DID (the ANI) itself that you are outpulsing.

If you are sending a valid number ANI to your carrier they simply pass it on to the tandem switch and finally to the carrier of the dialed number (the callee). The dialed number carrier has to do a dip into a national database to find the "name" associated with the ANI you are outpulsing and show it on the caller ID of the person you are calling.

So either of 2 things are happening here:

1) Your outpulsing a ANI number that is incorrectly formatted and is invalid. Garbage in, garbage out.
2) your carrier is manipulating your outpulsed number. This is pretty frowned upon and maybe illegal depending on the type of traffic sent. However, the carrier enjoys additional revenue from this activity.

I would open ticket with your carrier and ask what they show as the ANI that you sent them on your calls. This way you will know if you sent them correct ANI or garbage.

If they are no help, we are a carrier serving many vici customers. Feel free to reach out to me.

Hope this helps.
