We are having on weird issue since couple of days it was working fine before without any issue, our vicidial database stop responding after as soon as we cross logged in agents above 120 to150. Connected threads hits max value no matter what value I configure there, I see hundreds of table level lock queries in mysql. One database has with 16GB RAM, 16 core processor, max connections set to 400, about 200 agents login at the same time. I noticed one thing, on web servers there are many many TIME_WAIT to database server. Any help please?

Check Open File limit size using ulimit -a and try to increase it if its on 1024.

Go to mysql and run command SHOW VARIABLES and you will see all variables with limit. Try to play with those variable and check.

Can you please confirm that you are using 32-bit Operating system or 64-bit? Installation method, OS, Vicidial version and how many server using? Is this local server or hosted server? Any cluster?

how many asterisk servers do you have for that setup?
