unusual CALLER ID on inbound calls
Posted: Tue May 12, 2020 10:10 am
Hello,
I am using Vicidial
VERSION: 2.14-707a
BUILD: 190406-1437
© 2019 ViciDial Group
edited new knowledge (FYI): What I have been able to notice is that when vicidial receives a numeric alpha id caller from my provider, vicidiial places that strange id caller
This only happens with some calls, not all.
I am noticing that incoming calls show how to caller id
Y51209421300067695
In the CDR of my DID provider, it doesn't show it that way but it shows it in the following way
"Any Name" <CallerID NUmber>
Bold text represents variables, just hide it to not show private information
I would like to know if it is that vicidial, when detecting that it is not a number, it places this type of call session (Y51209421300067695). " I mean, I have seen it on the agent's screen as a UID, it is shown to all calls and sometimes it is set as caller id ".
For example I see that it looks like the "OUTBOUND CID" column of the Dial Log report.
Thank you.
