BTW, does anyone use branded servers? In example, I'd like to use HP servers for vicidial, web and DB servers, but I don't know if there are compatibility issues...

I have clients that use HP servers as well as some clients that use Dell servers. The HP servers seem to be working very well, some of the Dell servers seem to have some issues with PCIexpress cards.

I use Asus and SuperMicro systems when possible, I've had very good luck with both of those.
