Answer Machine Detection Settings

Greetings all,

Just trying to see what everyones AMD.conf settings are so we can all see what works and what doesnt. Ours are not doing to good at all as 60% of the calls the reps are getting are Answering Machines so maybe ill adopt some of yours!



Our AMD.conf settings

[AnsweringMachineDetector]
initial_silence = 2000
greeting = 1000
after_greeting_silence = 300
total_analysis_time = 3300
min_word_length = 120
between_words_silence = 50
maximum_number_of_words = 3
silence_threshold = 256

Do you have the same settings on the AMD string on your extensions.conf?

What kind of trunks are you using?

i blanked and forgot to change it in the extension string, i changed it now and will begin to keep tracking again.

we are using sip trunk starting today
