I am just wondering if using firefox 3 for VICIDIAL is worth it.
Anyone have thoughts about using it on their centers?

It is supposed to have lower memory usage and faster rendering so I would say give it a try and post here how it works for you.

Hello all,
as soon as I could I downloaded it (the day that FF plans on taking over the internet (joke) and immediately had a bug where I could not select from a Dropdown box to activate a list.
the realtime screen ever single time a refresh or even when stopped there were issues with selecting things.
Fraid there might be some patches coming, I have removed it completely and cannot use. Was excited, but no cigar.
Will look further if there is a fix on this.

I downloaded FF3 on Thursday and have been using it on my laptop since then. I have had one problem where it went to "Work Offline" without any notice which was a bit frustrating. VICIDIAL seems to work well with it though.

also a quick reminder, please set qualify= no instead of yes, i experienced 3 agents being logged out of their moziax clients, when I set it to 'no' it has been stable.

I know this is an old thread, but it was the only one related to the problem I am having.
I just upgraded to firefox 3.0.1 and now I cannot load leads. I get an error message that states "the file does not have enough fields" but I know that the format is correct because it works fine using a machine with firefox 2.
Also the input field where you place the location of the file you are uploading is a grey box instead of white. As soon as you click inside the grey text box, it reacts as if the browse button was clicked, and a browse window opens.
Anyone having the same issue or know of a fix... other then reverting back to firefox 2.
Thanks!

Firefox 3.03- cannot use the list loader
When I upload a file, loader displays "processing
pipe delimited file" and displays for each field to be selected the whole first row of the file.
First row in the file is like:
- Code: Select all
"name","A","XXXX King Rd","Richmond","BC","60424XXXXX"
What list loader displays as choice for all vicidial columns is:
- Code: Select all
"name,A,XXXX King Rd,Richmond,BC,60424XXXXX"
Used Google Chrome to upload the same files- no problems at all.
Tried playing with FF character encoding to no avail.
LIST LOADER- VERSION: 2.0.5-26/BUILD: 80713-0023.
I have upgraded to FF3 a few days ago, all those files were uploaded before with FF2 without a problem.
Any ideas why FF3 fails?
