Unable to connect to remote asterisk (does /var/run/asterisk.ctl exist?)

how to solve this prob in asterisk?
any suggestions???

Asterisk is not running, start Asterisk.

hi there!!!

sir mflorell,

i already start my asterisk using this command

asterisk -vvvvvvvvvvc

but i still encounter the same error

asterisk -r
