Reading through the different systems setups I seem to see vicidial using a t1 type setup. Do I have to use a t1 or larger setup. I have Verizon Fios set up running 10MBS down and 2 Mbs upstream. I dont want to have phone lines droppped in. I want to use voip. Can someone recommend a cost effective hardware list I need to accomlish this.
Thanks in advance.

You certainly can use Fios for a 2 seat call center with a VOIP provider.
For 2 seats you could use anything 1.0 GHz and higher, with 512 MB RAM.
Will you be doing full recording on all calls?
No recording

Hi thanks for the response.
No I wont be full recording. So once I install the Vicidialnow on the system. How does the system communicate through Fios? A nic card supported by linux? Is that really all the additional hardware I would need besides the sip accounts? What else am I missing? My old system had expensive dialogic cards and four phone lines coming into it.

That's it, you will need a computer for each agent, and a phone(or softphone).
