hi ops!

I just want to ask some questions:

We are gathering leads in one best site (www.anywho.com)
ou initiall tpe then name u want to search and the city that you want to get together with the state to find the clients.

The results will then show up. Is there a way or a splitter that i can use to fasten the job of getting the results instead of the old copy-paste style.

Basically, most of us centers will be able to use this so i really want developers to quite help not just me but most of us needing this.

Thanks!

that's not really a vicidial thing. it's a "web-bot". sourceforge has several versions available.

a web-bot can download web pages and place them into fields in a database. then you write a translator to put those leads anywhere you like. i've found that they only last for a short time. as soon as a significant number of people begin using them ... they turn off the feed or alter it in a way to make it useless or change it constantly so the bot is always confuseled.

Thanks fo the reply.
Do you any specific open source program that can do this.
I know this is not Vici part, but outbound/inbound centers using vicidial or any dial plan will surely appreciate this.

It's like getting the names, numbers, and peoples' information via web be transferred to an excel file, csv, or notepad for basics.

Right now, we are really clueless but the concept is there.

Thanks!

http://sourceforge.net/projects/html2sql/

sample source project. but we actually just write our own code these days when we need something like this.

generally when we get a project like this it results from a client who has purchased a membership in a list site, but the site will not give them the data in a database format, only "online". So they have us build a bot that takes the web pages (built from an online database) and convert that information BACK into a database for our client to use without having to pay someone to copy and paste for two years.
