Anyone know of autodialer-friendly VOIP providers? Every one that I see doesn't want anything to do with us! Is everyone autodialing through local phone companies or what?

contact me if you want.
Or try binfone. They are the VICIDIAL sponsor. Just tell them you are going to use VICIDIAL.

Actually Binfone just pulled out as our sponsor, so at this point we recommend Vitelity over Binfone for ViciDial usage.

From Vitelity's terms of use:
3.10. Use of Vitelity's services for telemarketing, broadcast faxing, delivery of unauthorized or unsolicited advertising, promotional materials or solicitations is strictly prohibited. Failure to abide by these terms will result in immediate account termination.
Why else would you use an autodialer if you aren't going to telemarket?
But they are fine with vicidial as long as you aren't breaking any laws?

I have more than one. We are very open with them, and they watch our ASR, but they have not yet had ANY problems with our dialers.

We use NobelBiz for our VOIP Provider. We currently have 520 authorized channels and our entire company is VOIP, except the fax server. They have servers in NYC and LA. I haven't had any issues and their support is excellent. We use them for our dialers and for our more tame PBX based systems. Now I haven't used anyone else, but it has been a pleasant experience.

As long as you are up front with Vitelity there are no problems outbound dialing with them.

Of course it probably helps that we validate ALL our numbers before dialing them, DNC scrub them, and verify that they are NOT cell phones. Hm. Keeps our ASR within range quite easily.

What methods are you using for validation and scrubbing?

Great questions. Validation we don't share, of course, as it's a paid service.
But DNC is purely from the federal government. Anywhere from companies restricting themselves to 5 free area codes, or purchasing individual area codes, or purchasing the entire list ($17k! ouch) or entitled to the entire list according to the rules of exemption from payment.
Not difficult software to build, but our primary concern is keeping our clients out of the courtroom. Full DNC compliance is required for this, and not calling cell phones (by use of the validation system) is helpful as well. We've found that NOT calling cell phones statistically has an EXCELLENT effect on the number of complaints per 100k calls. Next up is keeping the Answer Ratio high, for which validating the numbers is extremely helpful, this keeps the phone company happy.

I have used Vitelity for some of the centers I have worked with. Its a great service and they don't give you problems for telemarketing, just mention that when signing up. Only limitation with them is that you get 10 channels max. so it limits the dialing capacity.
I can offer you great rates all over the globe and have VoIP gateways located in major hubs like, Toronto, New York, LA, London and Moscow. If interested, we can setup a test account for you.
